I’m mike and I’m a qualified personal trainer. I’ve worked out and kept fit for as long as I can remember operating at different levels throughout my training life in many diverse areas .
In 2014 I found myself unable to work for two months as a result of a shoulder operation. wondering how I would recover and this is when my life changed and a new journey enfolded for me. Having plenty of time for reflection and frustrated at being off work and unable to train in the gym I studied to learn more bout the mechanics and principles of exercise including anatomy and physiology. and become qualified in the industry. I enjoyed it so much I decided that I would take early retirement in 2016 and change direction completely and work towards a new career in fitness and wellbeing. Supported by my wife I left behind a rewarding career in operational management and a successful construction business I owned in exchange for the chance to remain inspired doing what I loved and helping people achieve their goals and live a healthier life.. I set up 'Mike Robinson life' Fitness and Motivational coaching . I work with a diverse range of clients including many women and those in rehabilitation as well as performance based clients and continue to be interested in motivating and encouraging others to live a more balanced healthy life .
